AFOL Metropolitana is a public consortium currently owned by the Metropolitan City of Milan and the 89 municipalities of the wider metropolitan area.

Established through the gradual consolidation of all local AFOL agencies, AFOL Metropolitana guarantees citizens and businesses in the Milan area a single public point of reference for employment and training services. The Agency provides services aimed at:

• preventing and combating unemployment

• improving the quality of employment

• fostering the development of human capital

• supporting local economic development

The full range of services offered by AFOL Metropolitana in the fields of vocational training, guidance, and employment is designed around the needs of citizens and local businesses.

The integration of training, guidance, and employment services represents one of the Agency’s key strengths and significantly enhances its effectiveness in implementing and achieving specific objectives.

AFOL Metropolitana is accredited by the Lombardy Region to provide employment and training services.
